Las Vegas, NV – It will be easy to trace the downward spiral of Las Vegas’ most successful call girl, Cecilia Minor, aka Pepper. Formerly an acclaimed adult escort, Minor will throw away her pleasure industry empire with one illicit foray into local politics.
“It all started when I took that learning annex course in Political Science,” she will tell Larry King in a candid interview. “It was so exotic, so intoxicating. Before long, all I could think about was lobbying. I’ll admit it, I was seduced.”
Minor started off small, assuming various aliases and serving on advisory boards and committees for multiple branches of the local government. Before long she found her free time entirely consumed with paperwork and speechwriting. Shamefaced but open as always she will admit, “I was out of control.”
Despite Minor’s sincere apologies to her clients and johns, commentators and pundits will be grim. “Pepper’s career is effectively over,” Philip Ericsson of Hustler will say. “I hate to see a bright young professional like her embarrassed this way. She was a rising star… It’s really a shame.”
The lid will be blown off the case in late December of this year when a background check for a new employer will uncover Minor’s political predilections. While holding down a position as the press secretary for an unnamed state congressman, Minor will be exposed in a veritable media feeding frenzy.
“It’s a sad testament to the culture we live in that one’s personal tastes and private habits can be trumped up as public business.” Minor will say, “What I did was wrong, I’ll give you that. It’s immoral, but it’s hardly illegal.”
Shortly after the scandal is uncovered, Minor will slink humbly from the limelight, returning only briefly for the release of her tell-all book a few months later. The following summer HBO will air a miniseries (Spice of Life: The Cecelia Minor Story) based on the more sordid events of her career. Minor will receive none of the proceeds.
